Please donate to this worthy charity which helped us through the hardest time in our lives. The staff work tirelessly, with such skill and grace and always have time to speak to the family about any worries. You always hear about hospices through others and it's only when you become involved in the day to day running of the place that you see how much fundraising and donations are needed to help. You never think it will happen to a loved one or a friend but when it does the hospice was a sanctuary for my father in his last 3 weeks of life. We couldn't have coped on our own and I am happy he got the 100% attention he deserved especially in his last days. David was a man with many 'strings to his bow' and excelled in Science, Music and Cookery to name but a few. He worked primarily as a sound engineer rigging concerts and recordings and later delved in to the world of in-flight entertainment on airplanes. Around 15 months ago he had developed his own software for a subtitling programme and was delighted about it. He was a devoted wife to Jane and supportive of daughter Amelia. He will be missed everyday but we hope to keep his memory alive by donating to this special charity that is so important and will be important to so many people when they least expect it.
